Best Friends
Mark Anderson and Ryan Fey have been best friends for more than 20 years. The two worked by day as advertising executives when they started cooking together for dinner parties and casual barbecues.
Their early appearances as guest executive chefs proved the concept: people wanted what these two guys were making. Not just the food, but the energy, the jokes, and the chaos that came with it.
Then came the kids, and Mark and Fey became known as The Grill Dads, and built a community around the belief that great food brings people together — one fire at a time.
“We just started cooking for our friends. Then the friends kept inviting more friends. ”

FROM FOOD NETWORK TO NETFLIX
Mark and Fey were featured on Food Network's Guy's Big Project, where contestants brought their own personal culinary styles to a food travelogue format. And they won.
The victory was followed by two shows on Food Network, The Grill Dads and Comfort Food Tour, along with time in the judges' chair with Guy's Grocery Games and Beat Bobby Flay (sorry you lost the Chicken Parm Challenge, Bobby).
Now they're bringing the party to Tastemade with Grill'n After Dark — a late-night cooking and drinking buddy show where iconic late-night comfort food meets the two dads best known for cooking outside. Streaming on Tastemade, Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV, and more. Same duo, new time slot. This time they're cooking. And maybe drinking.
